Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th everyone, even those of you who hate America. I've got something, for those of you who are truly elite, running Panther. (Download FavoritesBar). On request from the Neo, now it's here for all of you to enjoy.

[edit] I figured I ought to add how to use this thing. Press Control-Tab to bring up the popup, and then hit ctrl tab again or use the mouse to select a folder. Sometime soon I hope to figure out how to catch when the user lets go of CTRL (I can catch this, but it breaks mouse events!), and it will be somewhat more like the Apps list. The list of Folders is generated by your Favorites folder in your user Library. Within the app bundle is a prefs.plist file which controls the 'Home' option. Eventually there will be a preference pane so that is why there isn't any GUI for the preferences. Tomorrow I'll post a screenshot. Here's a screenshot.

Well, it's nice and all- except that most of don't have Panther, and it looks to me like just an alternative dock. You can put folders and stuff on the right side (trash side) of the dock anyway, so I wouldn't have much use for it. Otherwise though, it's a great example of cocoa programming. I'd never be able to create something like this, anyway.

That's what you think. Is the Dock accessible from the keyboard? I think not.

Enable Full Keyboard Access and press Control-F3 to access the Dock.

I win again: Full Keyboard Access breaks like 30 things in Panther.
